About Nate Tam
TL;DR: I\'m a fast, creative editor with tons of experience across many types of short and long form projects. I\'ve always wanted to be an editor- not a director, cinematographer or producer, etc.an EDITOR. I was drawn to it since I was a teenager, and it felt natural for me somehow whenever I was in the timeline. In 2008, as a student at Art Center College of Design, I was given the opportunity to work as an editor on a few projects outside of school. One thing led to another, and suddenly I had a career. 16 years of editing later, here I am with a smattering of experience over a medley of material. I\'ve cut nearly every type of short and long form content, and have love every minute of it (well lets not lie.most of it). On and off freelance editing was couched between other full time editing jobs, and I\'m currently the sole in-house editor for PayPal. I have a knack for finding creative and efficient solutions to an edit, and can pull together a cut very quickly. I also love finding and integrating workflow solutions to streamline the creative process in post-production. It\'s hard not to sound arrogant writing these things, so bare with me. I\'ve been described as someone who is focused and passionate about whatever task I have in front of me. I believe I\'m just wired that way, and it\'s a consistent quality throughout all areas of my life; As a husband, father, and serial hobbyist and skill-monkey outside of editing.

I also worked with countless influencers (youtubers), integrating our marketing through the use of their platforms, and content. After joining Honey, we were acquired by PayPal - partly because of our internal agency and the creative work we were doing. We\'ve kept doing the same good work under PayPal, with additional duties as well.
