I started working on 401GO in 2017 with my brother and business partner Dan. The 401(k) industry was antiquated and every option available was significantly overpriced. Worse, all of the options out there charged the participants (employees) a significant percentage of their retirement savings to participate in the 401(k). The participants were taking the brunt of the expenses and the expenses where high! I dove into the industry and spent every minute researching and learning all I could about 401(k). I talked to industry experts and they all told me the same thing; completely automating a 401(k) wasn\'t possible (I knew they were wrong). In early 2019 we began bringing on our first clients to test our platform. It was a success. Our first clients helped us to rapidly improve and work out the kinks. We are moving fast with a small but impressive team and are looking forward to great things with 401GO!
