A construction professional having progressed from the tools to the boardroom — building a career on field expertise, operational leadership, and client-focused delivery. Beginning as an Interior Systems Apprentice with Local 2041, honing my craft in compliance with CSA and OHSA standards while upholding uncompromised workmanship. Driven by embracing the fast-paced, problem-solving demands of construction while maintaining a positive, solutions-focused mindset in high-pressure situations. This drive fuelling my progression — from working on my tools & operating Genie lifts, to effectively managing multi-project portfolios with Soubliere Constructors. As Project Manager, I oversee portfolios of up to 25 active projects across Ottawa and Kingston. Accountable for budgets, procurement strategies, critical path scheduling & financial projections — working closely with our Operations Team, Superintendents & Foremen on promoting HSE awareness, effective resource management — ultimately managing progress from start-up to closeout. Typical highlights include: • Directing site logistics & workflows along multiple work scopes; manpower coordination & equipment deployment, navigating obstructions & constraints. • Team leadership; promoting accountability & ownership, fostering collaboration & interdisciplinary relationships • Implementing various lean strategies; reducing waste, controlling costs. • Participating in program development for Foremen and Superintendents, elevating field leadership. • Navigating CCA-1 and CCDC frameworks; ensuring scope clarity, mitigating risk. • Building strong GC, consultant, and subcontractor relationships through proactive communication. • Driving industry outreach via Soubliere Constructors & WACCA U40, while passionately promoting skilled trades careers and community initiatives. Motivated by the balanced merging of site realities with strategic & adaptable oversight — an edge forged through my time in the trade and the valuable exposure to its progressive leadership roles.
