Provide clear and accurate tax advice to clients across various areas of UK taxation, including Income Tax, Corporation Tax and CGT; my speciality being IHT • Interpret and apply UK tax legislation and HMRC guidance in a practical and client-specific way • Stay current with tax law developments, Finance Acts, and HMRC updates • Research complex or technical tax scenarios and formulate detailed responses • Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies for businesses and individuals • Assist clients in complying with tax obligations and statutory deadlines • Identify potential tax planning opportunities for clients or firms • Draft written tax advice, reports, and summaries based on client queries • Review and quality-check tax content or responses prepared by colleagues • Support clients during HMRC enquiries, audits, or compliance checks • Handle incoming tax queries via telephone, email, or online support channels • Communicate technical tax concepts in clear, accessible language • Maintain accurate records of all client communications and advice given • Manage a personal workload of cases and ensure timely follow-ups • Build and maintain trust and credibility with clients through expertise and professionalism • Identify opportunities to offer additional Croner-i services to clients • Contribute to internal technical resources, such as knowledge banks or advisory notes • Participate in internal training sessions and help train new advisors if required including workshops hosted by me • Assist with writing blog posts such as tax question of the week which is uploaded for our clients • Provide technical insight and support to internal teams such as content, editorial, or sales • Escalate particularly complex or high-risk queries to senior technical specialists • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure accurate and consistent tax support
