ABOUT NATASHA R.

With over eight years of experience in facilitating and leading mentorship programs, I am passionate about empowering youth to achieve their full potential through social-emotional learning (SEL), science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. As a Site Based Program Lead at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County & The Inland Empire I oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of high school volunteers and elementary-aged mentees, ensuring positive match development and child safety throughout the school year.In addition to providing excellent customer service and building strong relationships with school partners and external agencies, I also develop and tailor curriculum that engages and challenges volunteers and participants, as well as supports their academic and personal growth. Furthermore, I train staff and students on classroom management, child development, and program evaluation, and I contribute to the organization\'s annual Leadership Summits and Leadership Development programs, which offer enriching opportunities, networking, and access to resources for our youth. I am a bilingual, detail-oriented, adaptive, and responsible leader, proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, G-suite, and Salesforce. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from California State University-Dominguez Hills, and two Associate of Arts degrees from Santiago Canyon College.
