ABOUT NATASHA MUNASINGHE

I\'ve spent my career building learning products that change lives. At Reading Is Fundamental, America\'s leading children\'s literacy nonprofit, I lead product and engineering for an organisation that reaches millions of children annually. In the past year, we rebuilt our flagship digital reading app from the ground up — earning Apple Editors\' Choice and App of the Day within months of launch — and grew organic subscription growth, 400%+.Before RIF, I spent seven years as Head of Product at an award-winning Australian edtech company, scaling workforce and higher education products to learners across 450 enterprise and government clients in Australia, India, China, and the UAE. We were recognised by the Australian Financial Review (Top 4 nationally) and the PIEoneer Awards (Top 2 globally) for learning impact. What makes my work different is the combination I bring: a legal mind trained in negotiation and systems thinking, full-stack engineering experience, deep classroom and research grounding, and a genuine obsession with how technology can democratise access to learning — not just optimise it for those who already have it. Right now, I\'m leading AI-powered personalisation across a content library, partnering with a Harvard-affiliated research team on a 2026 study on family engagement, and working toward a North Star set for our team: reaching 25% of US Title I schools within four years. I\'ve worked across every layer of education — K-12, higher education, and workforce readiness — in nonprofit, commercial, and government contexts, across multiple countries. I use that breadth of experience to build products that are both mission-driven and commercially rigorous. If you\'re building something that matters in education — or rethinking what learning products can do in an AI-native world — I\'d love to chat and learn more- Apple Editors\' Choice- Apple App of the Day (US, Canada, Ireland & UK)- Apple Apps We Love - PIEoneer Innovation Award (Top 2 globally)- Australian Financial Review Excellence Award (Top 4 nationally)- 2026 literacy study with research partners including a Harvard researcher
