Director of Business Operations for the Office of the Chief Security Officer. Lead at the enterprise level all business operations for 300+ employees and reservists through two branch chiefs and 15 subordinate employees to oversee 15 lines of business to ensure high quality customer service human resources, administrative, budget, training, action office, and facility support resulting in the protection of FEMA’s personnel, information, and resources. Lead Programming, Planning, Budget formulation, justification, analysis, and Execution of OCSO\'s operating and disaster budgets. Lead budget Program Decision Option for the lifecycle maintenance and replacement of Enterprise-wide obsolete security equipment (both technology and risk assessment related physical security countermeasures) to support FEMA facilities, aligning with the “2024 Guiding Principles for Resourcing” prioritizing FEMA-wide security systems”. Lead effective human resource management by developing and implementing policies, programs, and services that contribute to the recruitment and retention of OCSO employee goals. Maintained vacancy fill rate of 85%+ and is currently implementing a stay interview program to encourage employee retention. Lead Action Office activities through Service Now Action Tool. Lead training coordination for the leadership and employee training programs. Oversee the management of the security OCSO’s internal collaboration page on the agency website to ensure information is useful and timely. Participate in Security’s Community of Practice to foster an environment for the group to share concerns or passion for their work and learning how to continuously improve.
