Natasha Reed is a partner in Foley Hoag’s Intellectual Property practice, resident in the firm’s New York office. Her practice covers all aspects of trademark and copyright law with an emphasis on global protection for multinational businesses, from managing trademark portfolios for domestic and international clients to litigation involving among other areas, trademark infringement and anti-counterfeiting, to negotiating and drafting trademark licenses. Natasha has assisted owners of some of the world’s most famous fashion, retail, and consumer products brands with their trademark, copyright and other intellectual property needs. Natasha\'s experience covers the following:•Managing a portfolio of domestic and international trademarks and global brand protection and enforcement for well-known brands.•Counseling clients on the adoption, use, protection and licensing of trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, design patents, and Internet domain names.• Litigating cases primarily involving trademarks, trade dress, anti-counterfeiting, copyright, anti-piracy, Internet disputes, design patents, unfair competition, trade secrets and false advertising. Additional experience in litigating cases involving privacy, licensing, breach of contract, digital rights, right of publicity, defamation, and labor and employment.•Prosecuting trademarks before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, handling appeals, oppositions and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and handling UDRP proceedings relating to domain name disputes.•Negotiating and drafting intellectual property-related agreements, including licensing, distribution, designer, and cobranding agreements.•Prepublication review of content for issues involving intellectual property, rights of publicity and privacy, the First Amendment, false advertising, and unfair competition.•Managing intellectual property due diligence review for corporate transactions.
