Brief project manager, engineering, quality, production controller, division chief, shop floor supervisors and leaders weekly providing updates on potential line stoppages, mitigations in process and reallocation of resources to keep assembly production line on Depot and Command schedule.•Analyze historical data parts usage versus program requirements to create cost estimates for M1 Abrams X1100, M88 Hercules 1410-4/5 and M113 X200 transmissions. • Control inventory accuracy across multiple platforms planning material parts purchase and release dates based on program cycle times. • Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, supplier’s reputation, and on-time delivery history.•Tailor strategic market research initiative based on Impact Report to scour the commercial marketplace for parts that will impede any incoming program and setting up a course of action to mitigate any challenges during the program. •Foster culture of responsibility ensuring appropriate inventory levels, accuracy and a sense of urgency is at the forefront to meet customer on time delivery schedule. • Monitor inventory Cycle Count program to ensure inventory is tangible and not phantom meeting compliance established procedures laid out by branch chief. • Determine impact lead times by monitoring material requisitions, work schedules and coordinate with Program Managers, Production Controllers, and Item Managers to ensure the integrity of work processes are not compromised due to any delays or shortages.•Collaborate with cross-functional departments to research inventory discrepancies and work within the supply chain to remedy the discrepancy. •Audit parts availability in LMP (Logistics Modernization Program) using ZMMBEDISP real-time screen displaying parts availability and warehouse location.
