ABOUT NATASHA NAIR
I’m motivated by the challenge of solving complex problems with evidence, helping clients move beyond data to strategies that create real behaviour change in the community. Having an academic background in psychology, my passion and interest has always been in understanding what humans think and what motivates our behaviour. I’m an Associate Partner with over 13 years of experience in research across government, social policy, and commercial sectors. My work focuses on helping organisations translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive social outcomes and business growth.I manage project teams, guiding and mentoring researchers to deliver data-driven insights which help solve social and commercial problems. I have led projects ranging from large-scale government evaluations and community studies (involving the economy, the environment, infrastructure, charitable donations, sexual health, drug usage, First Nations and migrant communities) to commercial market research exploring consumer behaviour, brand strategy, and communications effectiveness (across energy, media, technology, finance and health sectors). This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of the need to balance research rigour and out-of-the-box creative thinking in order to have real-world impact across sectors. • Designing and delivering mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) research programs• Turning data into insights that guide policy decisions, brand strategies, and service design• Advising executives, policymakers, and business leaders on evidence-based strategy• Leading project teams and mentoring researchers to deliver impactful work• Engaging stakeholders — from community groups to executives — and building consensus around research outcomes• Experience across research methodologies (segmentation, max diff, choice modelling, price differentiation) and technical skills in analytics and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Q, SPSS, Power BI, SQL)
