ABOUT NATASHA GANGJEE

I recently joined the Microsoft HoloLens product design engineering team, and am working on developing the latest hardware in mixed reality technology. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2020, I worked as a Production Development Engineer at Carbon, helping customers assess, evaluate, and optimize their applications for production in additive manufacturing. Prior to joining Carbon in 2018, I worked as a mechanical engineer at Whipsaw, one of the leading product design firms in the bay area. I especially enjoyed solving problems at the intersection of form and function and engineering products that alleviate an end user’s unique set of problems. At Whipsaw, I spent over 4 years working on a variety of human-centered medical and consumer products. Prior to joining Whipsaw in 2014, I was an engineer at Speck Design, where I worked on a wide range of products in the medical, datacom, consumer electronics, and entertainment industries. I graduated with an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Cornell University. In my spare time, I enjoy weightlifting, falling down the endless rabbit hole of podcasts, exploring the planet, and attempting countless DIY projects.
