Once receiving a promotion to the practice manager (former CCR and bereavement support) in late 2022, I rebuilt our team. Everyone is very hard working, kind and compassionate with best medicine and not just physical but emotional welfare of animals being top priority. Everyone is treated equally, and all voices, concerns and ideas are heard. I lead a team where everyone is a “go-to” for something, which has been organized by our colleagues strengths and areas of interest. Our practice is very organized and surrounded by kindness and compassion, with extra attention paid to burn out and compassion fatigue. This includes how we organize our euthanasia’a or any individuals facing pet loss;with special attention to every detail not just for the patient and their family, but our team’s well being too.
