I am back at NBCUniversal not as an intern but this time as an Assignment Editor at NBC7 and Telemundo 20 I am responsible for overseeing the coordination and scheduling of news content for multiple newscasts, ensuring timely and accurate coverage of breaking news in both English and Spanish. I work closely with reporters, producers, and the entire newsroom team to generate story ideas and gather information in a timely manner. With a keen ability to monitor news sources—ranging from police scanners to social media—I quickly respond to emerging stories and help facilitate comprehensive coverage both on-air and online. In this position I have also been trained to story produce and write stories for our website.
