Natalie Cook-Weeks is currently a Certified Child Life Specialist at Monroe Carell Jr. Children\'s Hospital, serving in their Hematology/Oncology clinic & inpatient units. She currently serves on the ACLP Mentorship Committee for the 20••••26 year & served on the 2025 ACLP Abstract Review Committee. She completed her M.Ed. in Child Studies at Vanderbilt University\'s Peabody College of Psychology and Human Development, with a concentration in Pediatric Healthcare and Developmental Disabilities. She also completed her child life internship at Norton Children’s Hospital, with rotations in their med/surg inpatient unit, outpatient hematology/oncology clinic, and urology/L&D/ER. She is a recipient of the OSEP Interdisciplinary Training Grant, where she emphasizes in children with developmental disabilities.As a Certified Child Life Specialist, her goal is to apply her training and knowledge throughout her career to pursue successful and effective ways for pediatric patients with developmental disabilities and medical complexities to cope in healthcare settings. Natalie was a research assistant in the CHILL Lab and conducted her own research on healthcare providers\' experiences caring for children with complex medical needs.Natalie is also a graduate of Queens University of Charlotte, with a degree in Psychology with a double minor in Business and Human Services. She was a captain of the Queens\'s University of Charlotte 7-time National Championship Women\'s Swimming Team, Research Assistant, Royal Ambassador Program, and a former Transition to University Program Leader.
