I am responsible for the day-to-day management of the Crewing Operations Team to ensure all activities and tasks are completed in a professional, timely manner. Providing leadership, promoting a good working environment, and proactively building strong lasting relationships with key departments, particularly project management and engineering teams. I have a team of currently 5 people (3 coordinators, 1 Snr coordinator and 1 Supervisor. I am involved in our monthly auditing process and twice-yearly audit with our external auditors (for our 4 ISO standards – Quality, Event Sustainability, Environmental, Health & Safety). I was a part of our systems implementation team as well as being on the company Inclusion & Diversity team and a part of the Global Women’s network. I am a Mental Health First Aider and run weekly drop in sessions for those who need some extra help. I also manage several projects including staff training programme, travel programme and many more. The Crewing Operations department is responsible for: • Sourcing and booking the correct technical crew with the right skills for our live events. • Planning and arranging complex crew travel arrangements (flights, trains, cars, boats, hotels, transfers, Brexit restrictions, covid rules). Distributing confirmations and ensuring payments are made on time and within budget. • Application and processing of any Visa, work permits or second passports for the crew and maintaining internal records. • Raising and monitoring purchase orders for crew, travel, and expenses • To assess freelancers at time of engagement against IR35 tax rules and maintaining internal records • Administer and book all crew training, ensuring everything is in date and logged on the matrix • Event accreditation among many other things
