The mission of Alpha Phi Sigma is to promote analytical thinking, rigorous scholarship, and lifelong learning; to elevate the ethical standards of the criminal justice professions, and to sustain in the public mind the benefit and necessity of education and professional training.In the elected position of social chair, I will enhance the presence of Alpha Phi Sigma by creating and promoting opportunities for members to connect and build bonds within their fraternity as well as create a wider net of community outreach for new engagement. This includes social media marketing and advertising, communication with different school and criminal justice based organizations, as well as currating and planning social events to further the bonds within the chapter.
