ABOUT NATALIE GRIFFIN

Every person and leader wants to change something about their work, company, or self. My work empowers that change. I am committed to building tech for good to promote health, community, and safety, environmental stewardship, and corporate responsibility. Tech has the power to create and change systems so that individuals have opportunities regardless of who they are and where they live. In this digital age, it is possible to distribute resources and information so more have access, and positive change is realized. I know there is potential to achieve this through a human-and-environment-centered approach that incorporates creativity and empathy when designing systems, services and policies. In undergrad, a lecture on the economics of why more boys than girls are educated in developing countries made me see the necessity of marrying practical, tangible, quantitative skills with a passion and drive to manifest social change. I majored in economics and Chinese and developed analytical skills to understand, quantify, and find innovative solutions to our most challenging problems. I started my career at Capital One, where the mission to \"Change Banking for Good\" drew me to the company. At Capital One I built high performing teams, delivered complex software projects, optimized company processes, and improved organizational culture. All that experience increased our ability to deliver technology that makes a difference in people\'s lives. To support the work of creating positive change in individuals and organizations, I earned my leadership coaching certification. Since then, I have consulted and worked full time at a variety of companies, each bringing great experiences and learning. I look forward to my next opportunity.I enjoy being outside and active. I play soccer, rugby, and Australian football, hike, and practice yoga and martial arts. If you\'re interested in getting coffee, please send a message my way!
