About Natalie Hawes
I have over 5 years of civil service experience, both foreign and domestic, working closely with military members and their families. After accomplishing 3 years of civil service in Japan, I developed strong professional and personal outlooks that have enabled me to progress in my career and other areas of life. While working overseas, I gained insight into the complexities of host nation agreements, international contracts, bilateral partnerships, and to the synergistic collaboration that can be achieved through diversity. I am currently pursuing a masters degree in social work and wish to continue a career in public service to facilitate positive change and growth in people and communities. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy teaching yoga and volunteering with non-profit organizations. I appreciate opportunities that arise from community involvement and wish to pursue a career in public service.
