I contributed to the development and expansion of the Blackwell Laboratory at Vanderbilt University Medical Center as a full time employee where I contributed to current and new projects studying idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis to find genetic therapeutics. Collaborating with physicians, primary investigators, and other scientists, I was able to learn an extensive amount of lab techniques and how the world of science operates on the side of medicine outside of the clinic.
