As a Resident Advisor (RA) in the Kenan Residential Community on UNC’s campus, I help create a welcoming on-campus housing environment that promotes personal development, citizenship, community involvement, and leadership. I am responsible for helping residents feel safe and comfortable in their living environment. I host social and skill-building events for my residents every few weeks, collaborate with other RAs to plan these events, connect residents to university resources, and mediate issues between/among residents.
