Introduction: Erlanger is named among \"America\'s Best Hospitals\" by U.S. News & World Report, is a non-profit, academic teaching center affiliated with the University of Tennessee College of Medicine. Erlanger is also a Level-One Trauma Center. Transitioned from a medical sales role, calling on Erlanger since 2014 – to being a surgical technologist for Erlanger – my first 5 years with our trauma center Spine Team – supporting Ortho, Neuro, General, GYN, Urology, Vascular, Plastics, Craniofacial and ENT. Recently transitioned to our Cardiovascular Surgery Team. Provide surgical support including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), aortic valve replacement, mitral valve replacement, video-assisted thoracic surgery VATS), pacemaker insertion, carotid endarterectomy, ascending aortic aneurysm, trauma services, kidney transplant, and patient donor services. Meet with medical device OEMs and other providers to review their product and service applications – stay abreast of changing technology and assist in procurement decisions. Trained on select new products, e.g, the Midas Rex drills from Medtronic. Note that our services support an unusually large patient demographic - Southeast Tennessee, North Georgia, North Alabama, and Western North Carolina.
