ABOUT NATALIE SIMOTAS

I am a rising senior at Lehigh University pursuing a B.S. in Population Health. I am currently on the track to pursue a career as a Physician Assistant. My academic foundation includes coursework in Data Science, Biostatistics, and programming in Python and R, which I use to analyze complex health issues.As a research assistant, I examine the impact of stress and resilience on reproductive health in South Bethlehem. I’ve developed survey tools and analyzed data to inform our study’s next phases. My hands-on experience as a medical assistant at Englewood Ear, Nose, and Throat P.C, and hospital volunteer has deepened my understanding of patient care and operational efficiency. On campus, I serve as a Peer Health Advisor and member of the College of Health Student Advisory Council, where I promote wellness and help organize health education events. As Director of Academics for my sorority, I helped lead my chapter to one of the highest GPAs among Greek organizations. I also made the Dean\'s List for Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Fall 2023, and Spring 2024. I am passionate about addressing health disparities, enhancing healthcare delivery, and advancing innovation in health systems. As I pursue a career as a Physician Assistant, I look forward to leveraging my skills, connecting with others, and embracing opportunities that expand my knowledge and experiences to make a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare.
