ABOUT NATALIE NOVAK REMPLAKOWSKI
I’m a Polish-Canadian filmmaker and producer, and the founder of Citrine Productions, where I champion bold, auteur-driven storytelling with international reach. I work as a close creative and strategic partner to vision-led filmmakers, combining creative incubation with entrepreneurial execution.Citrine’s debut feature, Seahorse, written, directed by, and starring Aisha Evelyna, will premiere in early 2026. The film was produced with support from Telefilm Canada’s Talent to Watch program and stars Joseph Marcell (The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air).I’m a graduate of NYU Tisch’s Graduate Film Program and have produced award-winning work recognized by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television and showcased at festivals including Venice, TIFF, Sundance, the New York Film Festival, and SXSW.Previously, I worked as an Associate Producer at Scythia Films under Daniel Bekerman (The Apprentice), as well as freelanced extensively in short-form production. I hold a BFA in Theatre (Honours, Acting) from York University.
