About Natalie Marr

If I rewind a bit, I knew that helping folks transition into new environments was where I wanted to be as soon as I got involved in onboarding. There was no better feeling than making someone feel welcomed and like they belonged in that new space. Fast forward a few years, and I found my passion for learning and development though my previous role in academic support services. Through the training and workshops that I facilitated, as well as my own professional development, I became obsessed with the idea that learning doesn\'t have to only happen in a classroom, and more importantly, that it is never too late to learn something new. Hit pause on where I am now, and you\'ll see I am currently working as a L&D Specialist where I get to combine my two passions: making employees feel at home and helping them learn and grow. I am extremely hard working with over 2 years of experience in HR, a bachelor\'s degree in English (hello, Oxford comma), and a master\'s degree focused on all things higher education. When I\'m not reading sci-fi novels, you can catch me hanging out with my sourdough starter, playing fetch with my cat, Poppy, or looking for the best pork ramen in town.
