ABOUT NATALIE INDIA BALMAIN

Hi, I\'m Natalie. I\'m a Podcast Host, Presenter and Content Creator - and a veteran in communications and social media. My experience covers entertainment, music, the NHS, private healthcare sector and med tech industry (with a specialist interest in Type 1 Diabetes health and tech). I\'m probably best known for winning the series \"Make Me Prime Minister\" on Channel 4, after competing in a series of high-level political challenges against 11 other candidates, judged by Alastair Campbell and Baroness Sayeeda Warsi. I\'m a regular contributor on FUBAR Radio and Radio 5 Live, have been published in The Guardian, The Metro and Huffpost, and I\'ve also been involved in media campaigns that have reached over 3.5 million views. My Twitter followers include former President of the United States Barack Obama, as well as Tom Cruise!I previously launched Type 1 Clothing in 2017. A novel concept at that time, the company designed, produced and sold specially adapted clothing for people who have to wear attached medical devices or administer regular injections, and has since inspired multiple other designers to consider the impact of fashion on health. The debut ladies collection launched in June 2017 and was featured on BBC news and radio, The Guardian, The Times and a number of foreign language publications, as well as attracting praise from Chelsea Clinton, Ashton Kutcher and many other media outlets.I am also an ambassador for Dexcom and Omnipod, and a supporter of JDRF and Diabetes UK.
