ABOUT NATALIE FLANDERS

With over 15 years of classroom experience teaching both French & English I\'ve had the priviledge of mentoring both student teachers and experienced teachers through the implementation of Universal Design For Learning strategies to increase achievement and boost self-esteem. Regardless of the student population, I meet the educational needs of students from diverse socio-economic and ethnic backgrounds, and with various challenges in physical, cognitive, emotional and language skills. I have demonstrated strengths in multidisciplinary lesson planning, individualized education plans, student evaluation & needs assessment, technology integration, student centred learning & problem based learning. As well as a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Studies and Online Course Design. Aside from being a military wife & proud mother (which is the best job of all), I also run a successful online business where I mentor, teach and coach adults of various ethnicities, educational backgrounds and various language skills. Not only is it empowering to help all these people from all over the world, it’s also been a smart move financially and allows us to take more family vacations, buy more ‘toys’ like ATV’s & Skidoo’s, and live a less-stressful, more balanced life.
