Public Health Medicine physician with 15 years experience spanning clinical work, academic research, healthcare public health, health protection and policy. Finishing public health specialty training (CCT) in May 2026 and open to new opportunities. Passionate about translating data and research findings into action. Currently working on an interesting portfolio, including:1. Senior Clinical Research Fellow at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine2. Clinical Governance Lead for a community screening programme in Southwark and Lambeth 3. Specialist Registrar at the UK Health Security Agency, health protection & national surveillance of infectious diseasesAcademic work- Mixed methods research, infectious diseases epidemiology, health inequalities and screening- PhD on translating epidemiology to screening for Chagas disease (a neglected tropical disease) in the Latin American population in the UK- Previous MRC Clinical Research Fellow at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine & Centenary Fellow at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases- Awarded grants from the European Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ESCMID), the Medical Research Council, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Hospital for Tropical Diseases\' Charitable Fund- Regularly lecture on Chagas disease, community engagement, screening and population health in London, Liverpool and Peru
