During my time with Entain, I have undertaken a multitude of roles. Currently I am the Marketplace Manager of the areas first crossbrand (Ladbrokes & Coral) Marketplace. Key responsibilities - Shop Level - Train, motivate, develop and lead the shop team to hit KPI’s- Identify any changes in business and take action when neded- Monitor costs and discrepancies to drive costs down to be in line with budget- Deliver the annual budget through close management and a focus on market growth- Have close business links within the local community- Ensure that we are adhering to the correct policies and fully compliant with The Gambling Act. Key responsibilities - Area Level - Recruitment of colleagues, being their port of call for the on-boarding process and review their training - Various lead roles (FOBT, SSBT Growth, New Legislation)- Created and ran an area incentive to boost area growth- Cross-brand training- Have ran Attendance, Sickness, Investigation and Disciplinary meetings as well as being notetaker for more serious cases involving Security Officers and Area Managers (Appeals, Grievances etc.)- Rota Management - Adhere to all optimums, taking into account Time of Days (Shop Operating Levels)- Conducted bespoke training for the area focusing on Customer Service- Actively engage with other Managers to gain market share from competitors- When situations need – Be the port of call for colleagues in the Area Managers absence. As well as actively promoting KPI’s for the area and passing on information to Shop Teams. Then cascade back any issues that have arised or been passed onto the Lead Area Manager. Key responsibilities - Regional Level In 2019, I was the Regional Betstation Product Lead wherein I sent out almost daily emails to the East Region highlighting talking points and offers for the Betstation Product. This was greatly received and praised by both Peers and Leadership as well as those involved in the product at Head Office.
