About Natalie Castano
I’m currently studying Psychology with a Nutrition minor at Samford University, as a dean\'s list recipient. I was humbly selected to serve as a research assistant in both departments under my professors. I’m always looking for new opportunities to broaden my knowledge beyond what the classroom can teach. I believe experience and field studies are where I am able to learn and understand others in a way I could not on my own. Through roles as a research assistant, nutrition football operations, and event planning, I’ve developed a real passion for how nutrition impacts mental health, and the effect it has on athletes, students, and families. Using my passion for both nutrition and psychology to bring people together is what I will continue to do, whether it is conducting research, assisting players during practice and Samford games, or organizing events. I aspire to be part of an organization that focuses on the well-being and growth of each individual. I am so grateful for every opportunity I have been given to research, develop, and understand, and I plan to continue doing so. I would love an opportunity to connect further!
