About Natalie Battaglia

My name is Natalie Battaglia and I am an Event Sales Manager with Encore Global located at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. I am a May 2022 graduate from The Ohio State University, with a degree in Bachelor\'s of Science in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing, paired with a minor in Hospitality Management. Upon graduating, I moved from Columbus, OH to Chicago, IL as I was selected as 1 out of 50 selected across the nation to participate in Encore\'s National Collegiate Leadership Program. After being 1 of 43 to complete the program in November of 2022, I started my full time role as an Event Sales Manager. As a Sales Manager for event technology, I serve as a production resource to customers to help guide them through event experiences, identifying solutions that meet their goals and objectives, and help craft a successful meeting!Though I am currently diving deeper into my hospitality specialization, I must credit all my prior experiences that led me to my current position. I attended high school at Olentangy Liberty where I was involved in and held leadership positions as co-captain of the varsity softball team as well as French club president. I also have worked at Kinsale Golf and Fitness Country Club for six years where I was able to develop my work ethic and adaptability skills. I was also given the opportunity my senior year of high school to complete three mentorships in which I explored the different sectors of hospitality, sparking my initial interest in hospitality management. While at The Ohio State University, I joined the Greek organization Alpha Xi Delta as an active member and took on a multitude of positions within the Panhellenic Association that have further developed my leadership and professionalism. In the summer of 2021 I had the opportunity to intern with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants in the marketing department, where I learned primary marketing strategies and campaigns. During my time at The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business I have taken classes in accounting, statistics, and operational logistics. Through the marketing department I was given the experience to work as a student consultant for Nationwide Insurance\'s term life Insurance campaign in during the 2021 Autumn semester.In my free time, I enjoy reading with my book club, being social with my friends, rooting for my alma mater\'s football team (GO BUCKS!) and exploring all there is that Chicago has to offer!
