I represent professionals, executives, business owners, retired individuals and families in developing, implementing and managing sophisticated estate plans. By working with clients and their financial advisors, insurance professionals, accountants and other advisors, I assist clients in developing comprehensive strategies which achieve their diverse wealth preservation and succession planning goals, including estate and gift tax planning and asset protection. I prepare wills, trusts, health care surrogate designations, living wills, durable powers of attorney and preneed guardian designations. In addition, I advise clients on and implement advanced planning and gifting strategies using irrevocable trusts, including dynasty trusts, grantor trusts, life insurance trusts, gifting trusts and trusts for minors. After death of an individual, I assist the family in administering the estate, trust and managing all transitions related to the death of their relative. In addition, I assist clients in the negotiation of marital agreements as they apply to estate planning issues.
