About Natalia Pilpil
I’m a Master’s student in Engineering Management at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in May 2027. I earned my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (minor in Materials Science) in Spring 2025, graduating magna cum laude. I earned my M.S. in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Dynamics and Mechanical Design in Fall 2025.As a former student-athlete, I’ve developed discipline, adaptability, and resilience—qualities that translate directly into high-performance, fast-paced engineering environments. My work has ranged from optimizing heat exchanger designs using Siemens NX and FloEFD, to supporting F-15 production operations, to improving technical communication and workflow on the shop floor by creating graphic aids and model-based instructions. I’ve also contributed to ABET accreditation and supported students as a teaching fellow in multiple engineering courses.
