About Natalia Díez Riggin
Natalia was named Director of the Office of Legislative and Intergovernmental Affairs and Senior Advisor under SEC Chairman Paul Atkins in June of 2025. She also served as Acting Director under Acting Chairman Mark Uyeda since January 2025. Prior to joining the SEC, Ms. Riggin served as a top aide to Chairman Tim Scott on the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs, overseeing the capital markets portfolio. She previously was Deputy Legislative Director for U.S. Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana as well as Staff Director for the Economic Policy Subcommittee. Earlier in her career, Ms. Riggin served as a policy aide to U.S. Senator Mike Enzi of Wyoming and U.S. Senator Mark Kirk of Illinois.Ms. Riggin received a B.A. in political science and history from the University of Illinois Chicago.
