Investor-State Arbitration - Advising a leading European manufacturer of construction products in relation to investment protection issues arsing out of their USD 300m investment into constructing a manufacturing facility in Eastern Europe- Advising a leading European manufacturer of plastics in relation to investment protection issues arising out of their USD 500m investment into a manufacturing facility inf Eastern Europe Litigation only - Representing a Gibraltar investment vehicle in a USD 200m partnership dispute relating to a BVI investment fund. The dispute concerned construction of BVI LLP Articles on the issue of ‘carried interest’ entitlements. The case was heard by the BVI Commercial Court in the first instance, then by the Eastern Caribbean CA with the final appeal determined by the Privy Council in favour of our client. Natalia also represented the clients in related, but separate, BVI proceedings concerning the valuation of some of the key assets of the BVI fund with the total value in excess of USD 200m- Representing an Asian individual client and a political party in a ground-breaking dispute with a leading UK bank concerning the attempted closure of their UK bank accounts involving issues arising under 2015 PRAs and other related legislation.
