ABOUT NATALIA NOVAES PELIZARI

Neurologist working as “Practicien Hospitalier” at Centre Hospitalier de Roubaix after achieving the PH concours in 2025 and the EVC concourse in 2020. Previous experience at the Neurovascular unit of Hôpital Fondation Rothschild in Paris, France, and General Neurology Department of GHU Psychiatrie et Neurosciences- Hôpital Sainte Anne in Paris. I have previously worked as “Cheffe de Clinique Adjointe” at Hôpital du Valais in Sion, Switzerland. I graduated from University of São Paulo in 2009, where I also did my neurology residency and then worked as a preceptor. I started my medical career in São Paulo, where I divided my time between my favorite activities: patient care and medical teaching, as well as my PhD research in Functional Neuroimaging in Movement Disorders. I had the opportunity to coordinate the neurology residency at Hospital Albert Einstein, where I also worked in the Neurological Emergencies Department and Telemedicine. I specialized in Movement Disorders in São Paulo and in Paris, as a fellow at “La Pitié Salpêtrière”. After finishing my PhD, I moved to Switzerland then finally to France. I speak fluently English, French, Portuguese, Italian and I am currently learning Dutch. Member of the Brazilian Academy of Neurology and of the European Academy of Neurology.
