ABOUT NATALIA MAYMI

Natalia Maymi is the Director of Film at 30WEST, an independent entertainment studio that develops, finances, and produces film and television from the world’s most celebrated artists, including Cannes Palme d’Or winner and Academy Award nominee TRIANGLE OF SADNESS (2022), THE CONTRACTOR (2021), “Tiger King,” (2020), ASSASSINATION NATION (2018), and I, TONYA (2017). In her role, she is responsible for sourcing and acquiring feature film projects at the scripted stage for production financing. She also helps oversee the development, production, and distribution of the company’s films, including Finn Wolfhard and Billy Bryk’s upcoming directorial debut, HELL OF A SUMMER. Maymi has previously worked in feature film development and production at Paramount Pictures, where she oversaw films including SMILE (2022), SENIOR YEAR (2022), ORPHAN: FIRST KILL (2022), and PARANORMAL ACTIVITY: NEXT OF KIN (2021). Prior to Paramount, Maymi worked on the film team at Universal Pictures under President Peter Cramer. She began her career in the talent department at William Morris Endeavor and at Team Downey, Susan Downey and Robert Downey Jr.’s production shingle. Originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, Maymi graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Culture & Media and a Bachelor of Arts in Gender & Sexuality Studies. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA with her dog and two cats.
