As a Director at The Vagabond Group, I am currently spearheading the renovation of 23 apartment units in collaboration with Miami Dade Public Housing Community Development in the Little Haiti neighborhood. With this project our goal is not only to provide quality affordable housing to Miami, but also improve and implement policy changes, to incentivize small developers to participate in PHCD funding programs, such as SURTAX. Everyday I engage in many phases of the development of real estate including research, underwritting, planning, design, construction and project management. Some of our current projects involve the adaptive reuse of warehouses and historic motels that will be transformed into retail and office, in various neighborhoods in Miami. I assist in the closing of loans by performing the due diligence required. For example, coordinating property surveys, Environmental Phase-1 and Phase-2 studies, and 40-yr certification among others.I meet with possible tenants and companies looking to enter the Miami market and possibly find them commercial space within our properties.Because we love what we do, at The Vagabond Group we consider ourselves neighborhood enhancers and place-makers.
