About Nastassja Rai
Identifying the invisible essentials.Growing up, I loved drawing Pokémon and my favorite anime characters. I was also obsessed with learning. I always gravitated towards physics and mathematics. And somehow they lead me to pursue engineering.Engineering is a noble profession but the field of materials didn’t move my core like visual design did. What I liked was finding solutions and the process of getting to solutions. So I fused what I learned with what I loved.Today I find solutions, illustrate, make tiny animations, design products from scratch and draw people. I enjoy working with shapes, colors, information and space. It’s oddly satisfying seeing something you’d started on blank canvas, grow and expand. Ever so often I realize the wild expanse of knowledge I have yet to learn and every time I’m excited to put on my backpack and start the climb.I love working on design systems, illustrations, motion design, user experience design and user interface design. Everyday I try to find the courage to change things I can, accept the things I cannot change and hopefully recognize the difference between the two. I am Nastassja, grateful to be here and living the dream
