ABOUT NASSIA SHAMS

I have a passion for people and Human Resources career and network, and it is my mission to have a professional life style by adapting the vision of Leadership by working together with my HR colleagues to provide best employee experience to all team members at the Enterprise. I have diversified Industrial Experience for more than 20(10 years in leadership roles) years in all aspects of Human Resources Management and Organizational development with special skills in Talent Management, Training and Development, Human Resources Information Systems Management, Compensation and Benefits Management, Employee Relations, Corporate Wellbeing as well as a Generalist. My most recent position is as Senior Human Resources Manager at Gila River Resorts & Casinos. Previously worked as Manager-Operations & Administration at Milken Institute and as Transactions Manager with Human Resources Solutions team at Deutsche Bank AG to support the Human Resources team and the full spectrum of employee life cycle activities. I also worked at multinational companies with customer focused, multi-cultural, fast changing and highly demanding engineering environment. I have proven ability to work with different levels of people from various cultural environments, possess good leadership and excellent communication skills.I am proficient in Microsoft office, Engage, Prism, BambooHR, UKG, ADP, Taleo and Sales Force.My core values are excellent guest service and operational excellence, integrity, team work, professionalism, communication, consistency and confidentiality and i have a passion for process improvement and project management.When off the clock, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I am a wellbeing champion at work and outside and enjoys biking, hiking, Pilates, and yoga.
