Served as a technical expert providing engineering guidance and leadership, developing requirements and procedures, and aiding with policy-level coordination.• Lead case studies utilizing the Transportation Security Capability Analysis Process (TSCAP) to identify capability gaps in current programs. Analyzed mitigation options to identify the most effective courses of action (COA) to address gaps through non-materiel approaches within current programs and as needed Materiel acquisitions for future aviation security system programs.• Managed requirements documentation under the Joint Requirements Integration and Management System (JRIMS) process. Developed Capability Analysis Study Plan (CASP) and Capability Analysis Report (CAR) for identifying capability gaps and recommended COAs to achieve ADE-0. Developed Mission Need Statement (MNS), Capability Development Plan (CDP), and Preliminary Concept of Operations (P-CONOPS) documentation to validate solution approaches enabling the Checkpoint Alarm Resolution program to achieve ADE-1.• Served as the technical lead in transitioning the open systems architecture concepts project for third-party algorithm development into an actual system demonstration with TSA’s new Computed-Tomography Checkpoint technology. Formulated and executed the baseline phase of the project with Sandia National Laboratories to obtain operational timing characterization data with resource loading analysis to identify effective areas to optimize hardware and software to ensure feasible real-time performance.• Effectively oversaw multiple support contracts and coached individual contributors to maximize the output and to improve the quality of RDB products. Assisted with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) process improvements by leveraging elements of SysML and Cameo Systems Modeler.
