ABOUT NASIRA F. GAFUR
Hi there! My name is Nasira (some know me as Farah). My first job ever was teaching young children at my mosque. I enjoy the way they light up with joy when we tell stories and play games. In my last year of high school I was debating between applying for Mechatronics or Early Childhood Education as my post secondary choice. I chose Early Childhood Education because I realized that I understand and enjoy working with children. Giving them a bright future is my ultimate goal! Just last month (April 2024) I completed the Early Childhood Education program at Humber College and will now be moving onto getting my degree in the Early Childhood Studies program at the University of Guelph-Humber. Moving forward, in my position as a supply RECE, I will continuously build positive relationships with children and fellow co-workers, as well as nurture the youth - our future.
