After several years of successful careers working in corporate businesses, Natalie and Steve decided to start doing what they truly enjoy – helping others find happiness right here in Middle Tennessee! Working together as Nashboro Homes, each of them bring unique skill sets to their real estate customers. Natalie is a graduate of the University of Iowa, with 20+ years of experience in Human Resources. Her background as a HR Business Partner and Headhunter has translated perfectly into the Real Estate world. Natalie knows the importance of confidentiality, understanding people’s requirements and desires, how to hunt for opportunities, and how to negotiate the best offer.Her husband, Steve is a graduate of Iowa State University, in Industrial Engineering. He brings 20+ years of powerful negotiation experience for his customers. As a self-described “data rat”, he uses enhanced data analytics to match customers with great solutions at the best value. The DeFord’s have 4 adult children, and 3 beautiful Australian Labradoodles! The oldest child just graduated from Nursing School with emphasis on mental health. She recently moved to Colorado Springs, CO to begin her career. The youngest lives in The Gulch, near Nashville. He is a trained yoga and personal fitness instructor. Their boy/girl twins still reside in Iowa with all the cold winters:) One is following in his father\'s footsteps by working in corporate Sourcing & Procurement. The other is a make-up artist in Des Moines, IA. Having traveled throughout the country, Natalie and Steve bonded quickly to Middle Tennessee. They have recognized that this region is truly something special and is unlike anywhere else in America. With its temperate climate, endless attractions & entertainment, and some of the nicest people anywhere, Middle Tennessee has something for everyone!
