About Nash Newton
I\'m an American with dual Luxembourg citizenship. My passions include traveling, learning about new cultures, and helping my community. I want to continue pursuing those interests after graduation from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University in 2027.I enjoy collaborating with others on community service projects and have successfully managed fundraising and nonprofit programs in my hometown of Portland, Oregon. I’m a bit of a photography nerd, teaching myself new skills like Adobe Lightroom and adding to my online portfolio, which currently includes many Syracuse sports photographs! I’m a passionate supporter of the Orange. I’ve got dyslexia, and despite some challenges, it helps me see how unique thinking and diversity of all types can be positive. I’m also an identical twin, so if you see another travel-loving, camera-carrying, dyslexic student, it might be my brother.

Adventure Trip Leaders are responsible for leading groups of students on and off-campus, to various locations, for a variety of adventure activities, including but not limited to; whitewater rafting, apple picking, horseback riding, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, etc.Primary responsibilities include: checking participants on and off the bus, making sure attendees are registered and have completed all paperwork. Trip leaders engage in most activities with participants, and sometimes lead the trip, based on the particular needs of the program.
