Rajneesh Narula is Professor of International Business Regulation, and Director of the Dunning Centre for International Business and the Dunning Africa Centre, both at the Henley Business School. He was appointed an Honorary Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2017.He obtained his BEng (Electrical Engineering, with Honors) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria Nigeria, his MBA from Rutgers University Graduate School of Management, and his Doctorate in Management from Rutgers University.Prof. Narula has previously held appointments at the Copenhagen Business School (20••••04), University of Oslo (19••••02), BI Norwegian School of Management and the University of Maastricht (19••••97).

ABOUT RAJNEESH NARULA
Rajneesh Narula is the John H. Dunning Chair of International Business Regulation at the Henley Business School. He holds honorary appointments at Urbino University and Oxford University. He has been an Honorary Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) since 2017. He is Director of the Dunning Centre for International Business and the Dunning Africa Centre.His research and consulting have focused on the role of multinational firms in development, innovation and industrial policy, technological change in developing countries, R&D alliances and outsourcing. Much of his research is focused on policy-related issues.He was a Policy Advisor to the Kaduna State Govt, Nigeria till 2023, and continues to provide expertise to various Nigerian government organizations, including the Central Bank. He was on the advisory board to the OECD on inclusive innovation and sustainable development, and acts as an advisor to UNCTAD\' s World Investment Reports. He was Chair of the High-Level Expert Group on Resilience Management, working under the aegis of the High-Level Group on Innovation Policy Management. He was a member of the Expert Group to support the further development of an EU international STI cooperation strategy which established ground rules for the participation of non-member states in Horizon 2020. In 2015, he was a member of the Expert Group focusing on foresight analysis for technology policy strategies for 2050. He has performed a variety of research projects for a variety of international and national agencies, including The Inter-American Development Bank (effects of economic integration on FDI flows in Latin America; Import substitution and FDI spillovers), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (strategic alliances as a means for technology transfer), The Norwegian Research Council (the problems of technological lock-in for Norwegian industrial policy), NORAD (multinational enterprises and knowledge transfer in East Africa), OECD (Russian investment policy regimes; crowding-out in Argentina; perspective on global development).
