Working within a strongly collaborating agile team to support the Humana web application.• Executed automated and manual tests for ui and api depending on the feature type: new or modified.• Additionally, implemented back-end data consistency tests utilizing MS SQL Server along with the JDBC integrated in Java.• Used the following automation testing types: system, smoke, integration, regression, end-to-end.• Coded and documented tests in Java and applied BDD approach via Cucumber framework, where Gherkin is used for implementing the test scenarios in a straightforward and presentable syntax. • The front-end automation test was executed using Selenium Web Driver and JUnit.• Conducted cross-browser testing by using Selenium Grid to run test scripts on multiple platforms and browsers to check for compatibility.• Using GitLab for performing the git operations (creating merge requests, reviewing code scopes, etc.), and as a CI/CD pipeline to automate the smoke and regression tests on different times; smoke tests (around 60) include only core features and run every morning at 6 am, while the regression test set contains all tests (around 550) and run once a month. Checking smoke and regression test reports to ensure the product’s quality, and that the application is stable.• Automated tests for the RESTful API methods were implemented using REST Assured and JUnit; some methods, on the other hand, are still tested manually using Postman and Swagger.• Amazon Web Services (AWS) using EC2, RDS, and S3.• Participated in planning along with PO, developers, and BA to discuss and share knowledge about the product’s quality refinement.• Reading about new technologies and explaining the interesting and required ones to the teammates.• Mentoring the fresh QA engineers on their onboarding process and on their technological or infrastructural difficulties.
