Joined Patni Computers in Aug 1995, a leading IT service provider in India as Internal IT support engineer- Learned datacenter technologies (Server, Storage, Backup, Networking, DR), worked on multiple Unix flavors like Solaris, HP-UX, SCO, DG-UX, Linux- Selected for Technical Specialist role for onshore assignment in US as a Datacenter SME supporting GE (General Electric) customer environment. Long tenure of 6 years (approx.) in US was very enriching, focused on customer centricity. Returning offshore and taking charge of India operation was very rewarding in terms of building a strong team, knowledge sharing, mentoring and delivering quality service to customer. Played multiple roles from Business Delivery Owner, Quality Head, Sourcing and Operations Management, Learning & Development at Patni after returning to offshore. iGATE journey was focused at business growth, transition, transformation and solutioning. Learned lot on solution building, proposal reviewing and growing the business. Driving Operation and cost optimization initiatives. Capgemini scope is to support fortune 500 organizations, end to end delivery, Transformation, Automation, business growth targeting specific industry verticals.
