About Naresh Sunkara
I began my career at DXC Technology as a Junior Oracle Database Administrator, where I gained hands-on experience across a wide range of Oracle DBA concepts—from foundational to advanced. My responsibilities included refresh activities, managing RAC and ASM setups, working in OCI environments, handling Windows servers, database patching across multiple environments, and overall database management. I also played a key role in Dynatrace monitoring, effectively supporting two accounts in parallel.After 2 years, I transitioned to Cognizant as a System Engineer, where I had the opportunity to further enhance my technical skill set. In addition to deepening my expertise in database technologies, I expanded into data migrations from oracle to AWS cloud EC2 & RDS, DG builds, FSFO setups etc, additionally gained data engineering skills by learning PySpark, SparkSQL, Databricks, and acquiring foundational knowledge in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
