At AIG Hospitals, my focus is on developing and translating cutting-edge AI solutions into tangible improvements for clinical medicine, care delivery, and health system operations. I lead a team that is responsible for the entire life cycle of a project, from identifying a clinical problem to developing, deploying, and rigorously evaluating full-scale AI products in real-world settings.We have successfully deployed a comprehensive ambient scribing system across more than 20 super-specialties, which stands as one of the largest implementations of its kind in the Indian subcontinent. This system is distinguished by its proprietary medical ASR and reasoning engine, which is specifically trained to handle the multi-lingual, dialect- and accent-diverse characteristics of the Indian population. Additionally, I lead initiatives in smart radiology reporting, building vision-language foundation models for 2D+t and 3D abdominal imaging, and the development of accessible point-of-care healthcare solutions for population-level screening with the Asian Healthcare Foundation.
