ABOUT NARAYANI GUPTA

I started my career as an Intern at United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) State Office, Madhya Pradesh for the period of 6 months, where I worked on the various issues of SDGs. Thereafter, as a Volunteer, I supported the UNDP State Office in drafting of different project proposals on Substance Abuse, Job Tracking, PM AASHA. I coordinated in implementation of entrepreneurship project (MPLUN) of GoMP. I conceived the project of Navotthan (Substance Abuse) and was involved in its implementation. I also shouldered the responsibility of preparing concept notes and conducting meetings at state and district level with various government officials under Aspirational District Programme of NITI Aayog, GoI. I supported IDEA (NGO) for its establishment. I also made an effort for its business development for support from JICA and NABKISAN. I, furthermore, got an opportunity to draft (a) Handbook of Project Proposal Drafting and Project Management in Development Sector (b) Handbook on ways to conduct Research Study. I conducted research on various topics like – MSME, Financial Literacy, CSR, SDGs. Currently engaged with Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and have got the opportunity to work on a Project named Rajiv Aajeevika Samvardhan Abhiyan (RASA) that has been designed to revive the livelihoods of Niwasi and Prawasi impacted due to COVID or some other reasons. In total I have acquired professional experience of about 5 years.
