ABOUT NARAYANI BHATNAGAR

I am a policy researcher with a strong academic foundation in Political Science and a growing specialization in the intersection of law, governance, and emerging technologies. Currently serving as a Research Assistant (Consultant) at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR) in New Delhi, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects that range from evaluating India’s flagship development programs to drafting briefs on U.S. foreign policy trends. My work integrates legal and regulatory research with sectoral analysis and public-facing communication. I’ve analyzed key legislative frameworks such as the Telecommunication Act, 2023, the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, the EU GDPR, and Singapore’s PDPA. I have also conducted sector-specific research across domains like FinTech, drones, and education-especially focusing on privacy, data governance, and compliance in a globalized digital economy. What sets me apart is my ability to synthesize complex legal-policy frameworks into actionable insights for stakeholders. Whether it’s supporting cross-sectoral reform, contributing to national-level research, or making policy more accessible, I bring a multi-disciplinary, impact-oriented approach to everything I do. I am actively seeking full-time roles in public policy, government affairs, and technology regulation—particularly in consulting environments that sit at the convergence of innovation, governance, and strategy.
